North Oaks Resident Art Exhibit at MICA Featured on WJZ-TV

Our residents’ incredible artwork is getting the attention it deserves! A unique and creative partnership between North Oaks and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) was recently celebrated with an exhibit on MICA’s campus—and a feature story on WJZ-TV.

All the beautiful artwork on display was created by North Oaks residents who spent the past few months honing their skills under the guidance of Lorena Garcia, a MICA graduate student. The exhibit officially launched with a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, July 23 at MICA’s Lazarus Center.

This successful project and its recognition showcase the rewarding connections that are made through art and education. We are so proud of our residents for their amazing work and are excited to see where this partnership takes us next!
