Healthy Life Services
We follow this senior wellness program and base all community offerings around four pillars of life enrichment.
Active Life: Interesting activities, fulfilling pursuits and social connections are the necessary ingredients to healthy aging.
Fitness: Varied senior-friendly exercise options allow residents the opportunity to grow strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and enhance mental health.
Nutrition: Residents enjoy delicious dishes created with fresh seasonal ingredients in any one of our dining venues. Healthy meal options are as convenient as they are appealing.
Well-being: Health services are readily available at a Life Plan Community like North Oaks. Independent living residents have easy access to preventive health screenings. And those with a Life Care contract can seamlessly transition to higher levels of care without moving from the campus.
North Oaks residents enjoy access to fitness classes and resources even beyond our campus. We’re partnered with LifeBridge Health & Fitness in Pikesville, where residents can enjoy state-of-the-art equipment and benefit from the instruction of trained fitness professionals. Our residents particularly enjoy the aquatics center, which offers a class specifically for those with arthritis. And getting there is no trouble because North Oaks offers transportation.
