Tavon Rosber, Chef

  1. What is your favorite food to cook/signature dish?
    Veal chops.
  2. Who/what inspired you to become a chef?
    My dad.
  3. What is your favorite part about working at North Oaks?
    Getting to know the residents.
  4. Share one interesting fact about yourself.
    I had a scholarship to play basketball in college, but I chose to be a chef instead.

Sean Dawkins, Sous-chef

    Seafood.
  2. Who/what inspired you to become a chef?
    My dad.
  3. What is your favorite part about working at North Oaks?
    The ability to be creative and craft diverse menus that appeal to our residents.

    I love to fish!

Demonta Horton, Lead cook

    Any kind of chicken.
  2. Who/what inspired you to become a cook?
    My mom and grandmother.

    Everyday is a different and exciting experience.

    I love to play chess!

    Being prepared before service begins each night, and knowing the menus.

    Meeting and talking to the residents, and hearing their stories.

    I served in the Navy for four years and was a military brat growing up.
