North Oaks Announces Significant Renovations Designed to Enhance Resident Experience

North Oaks is undergoing a series of extensive, first-floor renovations designed to enrich the experience for residents and visitors, and foster an even more welcoming and vibrant community atmosphere.

What used to be the “parlor” is being transformed into a dynamic, multi-purpose space with theatre seating, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, and additional seating areas with tables for residents to play cards and other games.

The redesigned library will feature a fireplace, elegant stonework, custom millwork shelving, and a public computer station for resident use. Comfortable seating areas will provide the perfect spot for residents to relax with a good book or enjoy a conversation with neighbors and friends.

The café will undergo a complete facelift with a refreshed counter, stylish new cabinet doors, and cozy built-in seating, making it more comfortable, attractive, and functional for residents.

Additional upgrades include:

• New lighting, artwork, wall coverings and furnishings throughout the first floor community spaces
• New carpet in the first floor resident hallway and luxury vinyl planks in the lobby
• New flooring and paint in the entry vestibule and receptionist area
• Adding granite ledges to the resident mailbox area to provide a convenient surface for resting mail while retrieving it

The renovations, which began in July and are scheduled to be completed in the early fall, are being handled by Adele Greenebaum of ARK Design, LLC, a commercial interior design firm based in Pikesville.
